Why is English so hard to learn?

Here's something to light up your gloomy day..

Reasons why the English language is so hard to learn:
  1. The bandage was wound around the wound.
  2. The farm was used to produce produce.
  3. The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.
  4. We must polish the Polish furniture.
  5. He could lead if he would get the lead out.
  6. The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.
  7. Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.
  8. A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum.
  9. When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
  10. I did not object to the object.
  11. The insurance was invalid for the invalid.
  12. There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.
  13. They were too close to the door to close it.
  14. The buck does funny things when the does are present.
  15. A seamstress and a sewer fell down into a sewer line.
  16. To help with planting, the farmer taught his sow to sow.
  17. The wind was too strong to wind the sail.
  18. After a number of injections my jaw got number.
  19. Upon seeing the tear in the painting I shed a tear.
  20. I had to subject the subject to a series of tests.
  21. How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend?
  22. There is no egg in eggplant , nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
  23. English muffins weren't invented in England nor French fries in France (Surprise!).
  24. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.
  25. Quicksand works slowly.
  26. Boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
  27. And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?
  28. If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth?
  29. One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese?
  30. Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend.
  31. If you have a bunch of odds and ends, and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it? Is it an odd, or an end?
  32. If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
  33. If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
  34. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
  35. Ship by truck and send cargo by ship?
  36. How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?
  37. You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and in which an alarm goes off by going on.
  38. English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all.
  39. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

P.S. - Why doesn't "Buick" rhyme with "quick"?

ROTFL!

Unusual Birthday

It was 2 weeks ago. Kind of like a special one for me. This year was pretty "quiet". Been out with my friend's friends for movie and then dinner. Yeah, I'm an introvert. I know. I guess they were not aware that it was my birthday actually and I was not expecting them to know anyway. But somehow, they knew. Dinner at Wong Kok (SS2) and they ordered that super-duper big HK-styled tea. Damn, you know how big that was? It's enough for 12 persons! Well, it's not like we're all gonna drink from that BIG glass and take a shot or something.

During the dinner, one of the friends managed to get a slice of erm.. blueberry cheese (??) cake for me from the nearby Coffee Bean. I was so damn full then. I'm not sure if I did hurt anyone's feeling, without noticing it. I said I will definitely finish that slice of cake that night or the morning after that. xD

Anyway, that was quite a memorable and different birthday.

Thank you to you-know-who!

After I reached home, my cousin, WL called and the other one, John, SMS'ed me, asking if I want to join them to Genting along with his wife. All of us went into the casino. Me and WL just look-see only while John and his wife, Shennie played roulette. After staying for some time, me and WL went out and had a walk before deciding to get a cuppa from Starbuck but WTH! It was closing. So early. Erm, it was 5 AM then. Heh. At 6 something, we headed back home.

LOL.. tired!

Burnt Out!

Can't believe that I left my office at 23:00 last night!

No one was in the office anymore except my friend+colleague. My mom called me at 10 plus and got a little bit of nagging. She starts to complaining about me going home late everyday.. except Saturday and Sunday, of course. Although the working hour from 09:00 until 18:00, it's a very rare occasion to knock off from work at 18:00. It is consider lucky if I get to go back at 18:30 or 19:00.

Anyway, by the time I reach home, it would be almost 00:00 the next day and no dinner. So, might as well have my dinner while on the way home. Went to a McD nearby my friend house for our dinner+supper. Hit home at 00:00. Lucky mom went to bed, minus a lot of nagging but too bad dad is still around. Asked why I'm back so late. Automatically switch to Answering Machine Mode, "a lot of works and rush", I answered. Straight threw myself onto the bed without taking my bath. Yeah, I know, I know. It's very dirty but what the hell... I AM GOD DAMN TIRED!

No complaining here. Just want to share my days. What a 'wonderful' day~

TMNut’s Technicals Just Don’t Like To Listen..

Since the first day I had my Streamyx (a.k.a. Screamyx), I had made countless of complaint calls to their Technical. I’m paying RM 88 for a 300+ kilobits per second of download. We don’t need a calculator to realised that I’m overpaying for the service I’m getting. Just for your information to those who don’t know; RM 77/66/44 (USD 21/18/12) for 512 kbps, RM 20+ (USD 5.50+) for 384 kbps. RM 44 with first 60 hours of usage, additional usage at 1 cents per minute afterward and RM 20 for first 10 hours and 5 cents per minute. What the fxck@? I’m supposed to get 1024 kbps of download. I don’t mind if you give me less than that but 300 kbps?!?!?

Well, that was August last year. Recently, I noticed my downloads are crawling instead of usual “jogging” (our broadband’s not yet a “sprinting” or “running” yet, mind you!). Just an hour ago, I’ve made a call (again?) to them, reporting this. After those previous countless of calls, I’m smarter. Did every troubleshooting that they might ask me to do. After that, as usual, gave this girl my ID, name, phone number, etc. then tell her my problem. Just before she ask me about the troubleshooting, I quickly shoot, “I’ve done all the necessary troubleshooting” and she thought I was bluffing her! “What troubleshooting that you did?” Told her loh.. Off modem, unplug cable, power, plug it back, switch on then make a direct connection.

I’m so, so, so pissed off but I felt like laughing.. XD

She directed to Start > Control Panel > bla, bla, bla to make a new manual dialer. I told her that I already had one and she just continued, “Choose the first one, click Next…”

Bleh~ I just followed lah. Malas..

30 minutes later, after all those ridiculous and she-thought-I-don’t-know troubleshooting, the most exciting part………………………… I’m still getting 340 kbps of download! I really wanna LOL~

See, told you.. They just don’t like to listen…

Haih~ God bless..

A Different Perspective

I used to dislike Lee Kuan Yew. Only him, nothing to do with Singapore. Why? Because he had used the independence of Malaysia to get his own (and left us behind. XD). Get what I mean? After these Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Tan Cheng Lock and Tun V. T. Sambathan (I had tried so hard to remember his name…) gained the independence from the British and two years later, Lee tried to get his own for Singapore.

Just finished watching the documentary on Discovery Channel titled “History of Singapore: An Accidental Nation” and realised stories told by the elders are not necessary true and that includes our Sejarah textbook as well…

Tunku Abdul Rahman mooted the idea of forming “Malaysia” with a merger of Singapore, Sarawak, North Borneo (Sabah) and Brunei. Somehow, I don’t understand why Indonesia and Philliphines were against the idea. None of their business. Anyway, Sultan of Brunei liked the idea but not his people who staged an armed revolt. On Singapore side, Lee Kuan Yew supported the merger too but his opponents (the Singaporean Socialist Front) strongly opposed it. Anyhow, Malaysia was formed on August 31, 1963 which consisted of Singapore, Sabah and SarawakNow, this is the interesting part. After the merger, Lee from being the first became second after Tunku (Prime Minister of Malaysia). Minor problem. Then one day, Tunku visited a tyre factory and saw how hardworking those Chinese workers were and started to worries about his people back in the Peninsular. Before Malaysia, 70% of the total Singapre’s population were Chinese. After the merger, Tunku started to worried that Malays will soon become a minority in the country. Then he proposed and drafted a constitution for Malaysia which included the privileges of the Malays or Bumiputras.

At the time of independence in 1957, the Malays were 55% of the population, the Chinese 35% and the Indians 10%. This equation was upset by the inclusion of Singapore, which increased the Chinese proportion to close to 40%.

After that, there was a race riot between the Chinese and the Malays which provoked Tunku to demand that Singapore to withdraw from Malaysia. Parties argued among parties, this party challenged that party and soon Tunku called for a vote to expel Singapore from Malaysia. Lee Kuan Yew tried many attempts to keep Singapore in the union but on August 9, 1965, the Parliament of Malaysia voted 126-0. On that day, a tearful Lee Kuan Yew, announced that Singapore was a sovereign, independent nation and assumed the role of prime minister of the new nation. In his speech, he also said:

For me, it is a moment of anguish. All my life, my whole adult life, I have believed in merger and unity of the two territories.

There was a few minutes of silence as he was trying to get hold of himself, wiping tears.

Anyway, Singaporeans are very fortunate that Lee Kuan Yew did not insist any more to stay in the union. Otherwise, Singapore will not be the Singapore as today.

Hard Rock.. Rocks!

Came back home from dinner at Hard Rock Cafe next to Concorde Hotel, KL. It was on my boss' treat. There were a lot of ang mo's around actually. Nice view (duh~). I had a 'Hickory Barberque *something* Chicken. I was like.. bladdy full after eating the whole plate of chicken. It was almost like a HALF chick, ya know, with lotsa meat. Apart from a farewell party, we actually celebrated one of the colleague's belated birthday. She was made to stood up on the chair while our lawyer friend stood along next to her while holding her slice of cake and the whole Hard Rock was singing birthday song to her. So sweet.. well, embarrassing as well.

We waited so long for our foods to be served but well, it's forgivable because they actually served ALL of our foods at the same time except for Jax's. His was the last one to be served while we had already sticking our forks and knifes onto our chickens, beefs and whatever.

Overall, it's okay. It's kinda different from Hard Rock in Surfers Paradise, Australia anyway. xD

Resurrected..

It had been a long, long time since the last present in this space. As the matter of fact, initially, I have no intention of keeping this space anyway because I planned to get my own domain and maintain on my own. Let's wait until my boss give me a discount on hosting first, k? *LOL*

Just for a quick update.
Previously, I was doing a MCSE certification course under our "Boleh" government scheme and now, I am doing a 2-month practical training under this scheme with a local IT company (consider an IT company-lah). Its main activities are actually developing website for clients and also maintain those have hosting service by us. It is rather a small company with a boss, five employees and five trainees. The boss is friendly and has a great sense of humor, we'll never be bored (provided the clients are not giving him a head-spin on that particular day).

In short, it is a good place to work.. minimum level of stress - minus those deadline-meeting moments; got to know a new bunch of fellow 'slaves'!

Tonight, we'll be having the farewall dinner for two trainees who, one had already left and the other one due to leave end of this week; at Hard Rock Cafe (beside Concorde Hotel). *pst* I'm gonna start planning where do I want to get mine! *LOL*

Nitey nites!!

F*cked Up G.!! v2

Today, I had the most terrible experience with KTM! Normally, I had to just wait for the 3rd car to come. This time, the first 3 cars were all full, packed like a sardine. I reached the station at 7:45 a.m., train reaches shortly. Full. Turned back and wait for the next train. What the heck! 15 minutes later, the 2nd train reached. Full. Sardined. Wait for next. Fuck! Another 15 minutes, 3rd car. Packed, extremely sardined. Had to wait for the next. Damn, by the time I reach my destination, I’m gonna be late! 8:45 a.m., the station was so quiet and peaceful, next train came. So roomy. Doors were kept opened for 2-3 minutes. What the hell? You had made the commuters late and you still don’t want to shut the doors and move?!? That is a very, very small station and all the people had already boarded the train. What were they waiting for? Ghosts?!!?

My 2 cents worthed.. before you ask your people to use public transport, you should first improve the public transports especially the blue and yellow one. So far, I have no problem with Putra or Star at all (touch wood, hopefully). This blue-yellow gave me a feeling like they don’t care about its customers/commuters/users. “You late, none of my business. Want to take KTM? Don’t want? Then suit yourself”. About raising the fuel price, some selfish part of me totally disagree with it but we can’t run away from the fact. As the matter of fact, the subsidies saved up might be used to improve the public transport. So, I think we just have to wait and sabar. This reminds me about a quote by one of my previous trainer, “Sabar. Sabar tak cukup, Sarawak” But I had ENOUGH!

A lot of people agrees that the G. should cut down the support (the so-called tongkat), gradually. I agree but I have a suggestion, why not cut down the other tongkat?? Know what I mean? This other tongkat has been around for soooooo many years since when? Independence? Isn’t it time to remove it and let them walk by themselves instead of guiding them till they die? No idea what I’m talking about? Send me your e-mail and I’ll explain it to you.. XD

Unconciousness

Suddenly, I'm recalculating the number of times I had fainted.. Quite a lot of times but can't remember all. There was once in Form 3, Monday morning, during assembly. Stupid headmistress was giving her speech and then suddenly everything blur and *thump* WHen I regained my conciousness, realised one or two of my classmates and a prefect were helping me up then the prefect led me to the nearby canteen. The stupid headmistress still didn't realised what had happened and continue the stupid, long-winded speech.

The second one that I remembered happened at home, Sunday afternoon. Brother was having his "breakfast-cum-lunch" in the kitchen while I was laying down on the sofa watching MTV. Got up to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I opened the fridge's door.. *thump* When I got my consciousness, I saw Brother stood up, staring at the already laying-on-the-floor me, a few seconds later, he helped me up.

The last one that I remembered.. hmm.. let me see.. at my grandparent's house at Jinjang. Was watching TV at the back living room. Parents called to go back home. Get up and while walking along the corridor, felt the things that I sees swirling around and then *thump* Dad was already in the car, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma was in front of me. They looked puzzled. Regained my consciousness, stood on my feet and walked toward the car.

To this day, I'm quite puzzled with the fact that none of my family members that saw me fainted helped me as soon as they see me fainted.. Haha XD

Then the rest I can't really remembered well..

F*cked Up G.!!

My fuel gauge's hit the bottom and I had to drive extremely slow just to get myself safely to the not-so-near Shell petrol station as I always believed this equation; "drive slow = save petrol". Not sure if this is the correct one. Anyone care to prove me wrong? Back to the topic, I actually made it to the Shell station at Seri Petaling, safely. Flashed my cards to that attendant. He forgotten to swipe my Bonuslink card and I had lifted the nozzle. Only then he told me he haven't swipe and I put back the nozzle back into place. That attendant started mumbling and keep telling me once the nozzle was lifted, must fill and cannot put it back before you 'squeeze' the petrol! What the ...?!??! My fault??? I gave you the cards but you didn't inform me while I thought you had done everything before going to the other drivers!

Well, the main point is.. I took full tank. Previously it costed me around RM75 or 80 for a full tank. Now?!?! I had to pay RM97 for a full tank and thanks to the petrol price increase! I understand the reason behind the raise. Money saved up and dumped it into improvement of public transport. So far, so many increases but I don't see any improvement on any of the public transports, facilities or amenities! That stupid KTM still always not on schedule, stations are still being built or located at those kampung place with less population instead of busy towns, buses are craps like a 1000th hand car, potholes of any size are every where, Screamyx is suck like hell, 5-days work is bullshit especially with those government sectors. I thought the working hours until 5 p.m. but these people are seen taking buses, train, driving home before the clock strike 4:30! Everything raised, water, electricity and what's next?

Today's The Star: "XXX:Adapt to higher fuel prices". Bullshit. As if we have other choices. Do we have other alternatives other that unwillingly adapt??? There was a guy called to the radio station spoke about the issue. He is definitely right about one thing and I totally agree to it. G demands from its people, we the people must also know how to demand from them. Complaint, complaint and complaint!! Make sure they improves!

Something extra. That day I accompanied my friend to B*N bank to close her bank account. This officer and the teller, I really want to go in and give both of them 2 slaps each. What the hell? Do they realise we are the customers?? Below was the conversation (as far as I remembered):
Friend: Saya nak tutup account ini *passed the bank book to that stucked up teller*
Clerk 1: Apa pasal nak tutup?
Friend: Tak guna lagi so nak tutup.
Clerk 1: Apasal tak guna lagi?
Friend: Pindah rumah, takde branch dekat rumah.
Clerk 2: Boleh guna lagi punya, tak payah tutup.
(kaypoh clerk)
Friend: Saya nak tutup account.
Clerk 1: Tutup account nak charge 5 ringgit.
Friend: Mengapa?
Clerk 1: *answer unwillingly* Procedure lahh~
Friend: *Make face*
What a stupid conversation. If it were me, the conversation would be:
Me: Tutup account.
Clerk: Apa pasal nak tutup?
Me: Nak tutup, tutup lah.
*Change to English*
Why? Cannot close account??
Because your bank is lousy lah that's why I want to close? Cannot?
Must ask for permission from you is it?
So, you wanna close for me or not? Or I need to close it myself?!
~!@#$%^&*
What the heck? We are the customers or they are?!!? What a "servant"...

Sensitive Issues Yet Insensitive Speaker

Went to Sushi King for lunch today and had to sit along the so-called "Kaiten". There were 2 girls having all sort of conversations, sat to our left. They spoke in English and in a quite loud voice too and we heard almost the whole conversation that they had during our meal. It's not like we want to eavesdrop or anything. They FORCED us to hear! Lol~ They were actually taking about the latest, which I categorised it as sensitive issue; the caricature of Prophet of Muhammad and how those people being so violent by attacking people, burning building and etc. Both discussed what's wrong and what's right about that issue. You want to know my opinion?! Give me a ring and I'll tell you! XD

There were a few sushi chefs inside and there was one who happened to stood in front of them making sushi rice. After a long observation, I'd conclude that he's definitely a Muslim! My friend told me that they should speak softly to avoid by being overheard. I think they spoke even louder. This chef kept making a one-kind face at me. Well, I do think that I'm a dumb person so I don't get the meaning of that look so I just threw him a smile whenever he gave me that look. Maybe he was listening to the whole conversation, felt mad but couldn't do anything because they were the customers. Or maybe he had no idea what they were talking about and was just wondering why they made such and such expression/reactions and spoke so loud. LOL~

What a weird chef...

Hypnotic Road? Fishing?

I wonder why.. every morning I drove along this particular road, I would feel sleepy and starts fishing away. Even during my college days where I had to drive from Kepong to TPM using LDP and now to Mid Valley through Kerinchi Expressway, reaches to a point which starts at the Kampung Penchala entry up until the entrance into Kerinchi Expressway after Eastin Hotel. Along that way I will be fishing. The funny part is, I will be fully awake after paying for the toll and exit to the Federal Highway. Maybe because there are less cars and I can just race away to reach my destination in a shorter time.

I've always told myself to reduce my driving speed actually. Haha, but it always failed. LOL~

RO

Been stopped from RO'ing for about few years since they implemented P2P (not Peer to Peer but Pay to Play!). Just recently I was chatting with a college friend. She likes to play games too and we talked about RO which we once met and partied together. She said she is playing a foreign private server and suggested me to download one and play. God, almost 3 GB in total + patches! I downloaded a local private server instead. They had changed the system and a little bit of gameplay in a way that gaining EXP are much more faster, location of monsters messed up, job changing and skills learning are much more easier and convenient. Before MCSE class started, I played during the nights and after class started, I played only on weekends. So far, for one week I had changed to Level 70+ Advanced Secondary Job which it would take few months if I play the official server! Haha~ My cousin who started playing 2 days ago, got a Level 97 Priest already!

Lol~ Off to RO~

Cars.. Obsession

Dad planned to sell off his C180K and get an imported second-hand Estima and then sell off the Waja I'm driving now. Wonder why he never thought of selling Brother's Jazz? Well, I think there is only one answer to that: Theoretically, his Jzz worth around RM120K now but practically, I don't think the value will exceed RM80K.

Why selling C180K? It might be a car with superior quality but it's not our song to sing anymore. That blood-sucking car was sent to the service center for like.. once a month. Faulty air-conditioner, absorbers, etc. Not sure what kinda superhigh lubricants they are using, damn expensive. Just if Dad can change it himself, well.. FOC but has to retain the warranty. That's why planning to sell it off. The car's blood-sucking or the service center?

Once, Brother came and asked me what kinda car that I want. I understand about Dad's responsibilities and those unreasonable burdens. Since he bought 2 Wald Wish for my 2 air-headed uncle. Another blood-sucker. Are you thinking that Brother's going to buy me one?? Nah, not until he manage to hit a jackpot. XD That time, Myvi had just been launched and the 2 man in my house has been discussing about that. After some times, I've spotted a Suzuki Swift. Nice, huh? But the 2 old man said it's too small, can't carry much. I was talking to myself, "Why the heck I want a car so big?!? So that, I can't sweep everything out of Ikea?!? LOL~ XD

Sometimes I do really wonder, why my family's members are so obsessed with cars especially Brother and Wai Lun. Dad like to dream of buying Benz and BMW while Brother and Wai Lun like to modify cars. Are you wondering how their cars look like? Maybe because Dad is in the automobile industry and therefore fall in love with cars and Brother has been expossed to this since young. Wai Lun?? Not sure, his dad's working with plaster (as in plaster ceiling). We always said this, "Our dads are black and white" - those used lubricant ("black oil"?) well, it's black; and plaster's white. Haha XD

Lol~ Going out for lunch now.

Silly Me

Bro has gone to a free trip to Macau given by a friend of his.
Today, while driving towards Aunt Shirley's house I was SMS'ing with him (dangerous~)..

Very sleepy. Continue my story tomorrow......... zzzZZzzZzZzZZzZz~

So, actually the main point that I wan to say is, Brother asked me to buy a RM60 reload for him. Instead of buying a 012 reload, I went to buy a 016 reload card and sent the reload pin to him. Then... ... no news at all. Only a later while, I remembered that Brother actually carries a 017 number!

Lol~ silly..

Beat The Game!

Yeah! Finally, I had beat the game!!

I played Microsoft's Fable: The Lost Chapters <microsoftlionhead> for about a month, I think. I'm not playing it very often, just about once a week. I beat the game at 22 hours of gameplay and 60+ of gamedays. Kinda good record for me because I seldom play PC games and what's more, finish the game (duh!)..

Well, about the game. It is a RPG (Role Playing Game.. in case you're wondering) type of game. The development of the main character based on each and every decision that you made. You will play as a Hero. There are 2 sides which you will become; the Good and the Evil. For example, if you always kick the Guards' butts, steals from houses, hit people faces with no sane reasons at all, you'll gain evil points. On the other side, you helps the Guards to kills of the Bandits, monsters, you'll gain good points. If you have more evil points than the good points.. it's obvious, right?!?

In the game, you'll have to do quests, big or small, but there are core quests which you must complete it in order for the game to progress forward. The rest are side quests. Quests are categorised as Gold, Silver and Bronze which Gold are core quests. Complete the quests that you take up also helps to increase the Reown points which is necessary for a Hero. The more you have.. well, the more girls will fall in love with you and thus, you'll be able to have as many wives as you want! Apart from that, the villagers will recognise you and cheers for you whenever they sees you.
For Good, or for Evil?

Your actions as a Hero, good or evil, or somewhere in between, determine your alignment, and in turn, your physical appearance. Generally speaking, when you kill Guards, Trader, or villagers, Evil Alignment points are applied to you and affect your appearance. You might begin to grow horns, or even attract insects. If you choose to save Traders and villagers from the evil beasts that roam the woods, you gain Good Alignment points, which cause you to appear more uh, good, with lighter-colored eyes and a butterfly-friendly demeanor. Good or Evil alignment also affects the way you are responded to throughout Albion.

Well, horn when you're evil? Haven't try that part yet but I think I'm quite comfortable with butterflies flying above my head. Enough saids! Play for yourself! It's rated 'Mature' though. Don't play if you're under 17 or not mature enough! Hehe.. XD

Psst! Tell you something. I actually torrent it when the *ahem* DVD that my cousin bought failed.

Hot, Irritated and Sick!

The weather is HOT! I can even sweat in my air-cond room and I think I'm getting sick..

Thought of going to RedBox@The Curve today but damn.. all the rooms were occupied! That guy asked for our name and number, will call us in 10 minutes to let us know the availabilities. And damn again, he don't even care to call us back after half an hour of shopping at The Curve instead we had to called back to ask! What the heck!

Went back home hot-headed and straight jumped onto my bed when Dad came in and asked me to issue the statement for him. Well, gonna do that after I had enough of my sleep. The weather is crazy. Nevermind the sun shining through that glass window in my room, it was damn hot even with my air-cond and my ceiling fan switched on to the max! Touched my forehead and sensed a little bit of... well, I'm having fever!!! Gonna stop my daily intake of cookies and my favorite Coke. T_T

Well, wanna head to bed early.

Every year, Dad always made them to bottom up all 5 cans of Carlsberg. I guess this year they had got smarter. While doing the act, they gave Dad and Bro, a can of Carlsberg each.

Let me figure out how to upload the video here first.. XD

I was almost bored to death!! Please, someone! HELP ME!!!

Bashed, Owned, Pwned

Nothing to do, so went to my usual tech-feed at LYN.

Usually, there is a list of recently updated threads and new threads. There was a particular one that caught my attention with the title "auntie or uncle from kampung..., they very outdated le.." I had read all 460 replies in 23 pages which the thread starter only posted once and this is his (I assume he is a HE) one and only post that read:

do u all hv any aunties or uncles from other state lik kedah, perak,p.p or other than kl n johor?

i hv aunties n uncle from p.p who is my father side...we r not so close wif them 1 lo coz i follow my mom all in kl...

i found out that they all very outdated n old fashion le...the shirts they wear very.....haiya..i oso dunno how 2 say....when walk wif them...looks lik very men'sia sui' kan ony... o_O some more...their thinking very conservative....come on la...

He got owned, pwned and bashed by other forummers in the rest of 459 replies because of his ignorance and lack of respect to elders. This makes me think that kids nowadays.. if I'm allow to say so.. are brainless. Well, most of them but not all. Wonder what they are learning or learnt in the schools. 'Nuff said, after becoming outdated already. LOL~

人與人之道

"了解別人是體諒之道,寬容別人是和睦之道;

Dog Bites and A Massive Jam

Today, Uncle James's family, Ah Po and Ah Gong came to my house and they planned to go to this buddhist temple called Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple 佛光山東禪寺 at Jenjarom, Kuala Langat. They are having a "Lantern cum Flower Festival" in conjunction of CNY. Mom decided to join them and eventually, Dad and me. While getting ready, we had a sudden guests. Brother's friends from the lion dance troupe came to our house to borrow some sorta cable to connect car's batteries. My dog was barking furiously while running left and right at them. Two came and one of them got himself too near the gate. Suddenly, the dog jumped and got a bite on his face. Well, he was lucky enough to still have his right eye.. Blood was dripping and Dad drove him to nearby clinic. Had 2 shots of don't-know-what. What a bad Chinese New Year for this poor chap~

Set off to this far away temple at around 6:00pm. Traffic jam. Reached at 7 something. Packed with people which I would use this word: People Mountain, People Sea 人山人海! Hahaha! Stayed until 8 something and headed back. Planned to have dinner at somewhere nearby. Traffic jam again. Reached the desired restaurant at 9:50PM but the boss said they were closing and asked us to go forward. Reached there, sat down, drank tea and waited for almost an hour before our dishes were served. Finished, brushed our butts and left at 11PM. Traffic jam again and it was a darn long jam! I think there was almost more than 20KM, from that Kuala Langat until the entry to KESAS highway!! We were able to reached home at 1:30AM! This is the worst traffic jam I've ever had apart from the short stretch while entering Woodlands checkpoint from Johor Bahru.

Well, sleepy!! *Yawwwnnnnnnnn* Wanna sleep!

Ciao~

Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year everyone, Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Well, my chinese new year's resolution: blog it, maintain it! Wahaha~

The Year of Dog... Darn, it's gonna be my year next!! And darn more, I'm gonna be 24!! Anyway, CNY are the days where I can meet ALL of my family members especially my fellow PIG cousins. One is supposed to be a Dog.. well, nevermind, all '83 buddies~

On the eve, went to Uncle Low's house for steamboat. Sometime, I do really hate this particular day because my brother will away be out to god-know-where until late evening where my parent had set off at 6 something. I had to wait for him and go there together. Why, you asked? He said he don't know the way. Well, great! He came back at 8:00, had a bath and reached Uncle James's place at 9 something. Upon stepping into the territory of Justin, each and every persons in the house were asking the similar sets of question while I kept pointing at my brother.

Took a few silly photos along with my silly cousins.. Hah xD
Can't stop myself from laughing crazily when looking at those pictures.
Gambling sessions started among the uncles and aunties with 2 tables of Mahjong and 1 of Rummy. Got some colorful red angpaos, big and small in term of size not amount. Leaving at 11:30pm. Had to go back home and prepares for praying as they called it "Receiving God of Prosperity". Yeah~
財神到, 財神到, 好心得好報.
財神話, 財神話, 搵錢要正路.
財神到, 財神到, 得到佢睇起你, 你有前途!
Oops~ Got myself carried away. Well, everything was done at 3 am the next day. And what a day, my dog had ran away from home.

Well, 明けましておめでとうございます!
